Separate waste collection is a priority for the municipality of Lom

Bulecopack, the Municipal Enterprise "Cleanliness-Lom", the Municipal Student Club "Ecology and Environmental Protection" and the Association "Plastics for Charity" launched an information campaign "Second Life for Waste" in the municipality of Lom. The aim is to raise public awareness of the benefits of separate waste collection and recycling, and thus significantly improve the ecological environment in Lom.

Currently, on the territory of the town of Lom and the villages of Zamfir, Kovachitsa, Staliyska mahala and Traykovo there are a total of 161 containers for separate collection, which provide a volume of 3300 liters for every 350 inhabitants.

Various eco-initiatives for children and adults are to be organized as part of the "Second Life for Waste" campaign.
