Bulecopack and the Municipality of Plovdiv organized a holiday for the International Children's Day on June 1

On the occasion of the International Children's Day - June 1 and World Environment Day - June 5, the Municipality of Plovdiv and Bulecopack organized a holiday for students from Elin Pelin Primary School, West District, Hristo Danov Primary School, North District and North D. Talev ”, South district.

Official guests of the event were Mr. Anesti Timchev, Deputy Mayor of Ecology and Health, Vyara Koleva - Director of the Ecology and Waste Management Directorate and Vanya Doncheva - Chief Expert of the Ecology and Waste Management Directorate.

The holiday passed with many smiles, fun and mood. The organizers also drew the children's attention to the care for the environment, because it is the place where we live and our health and way of life depend on it. We must take the necessary care of it without polluting it, because this can have negative consequences for all of us. Air and water pollution, deforestation, global warming, the extinction of certain species of plants and animals are just some of the consequences of human activity.

There are many ways to protect a clean environment, one of them, and perhaps the easiest, is to have a responsible attitude towards the waste we generate by collecting it separately and using colored containers in our city. Separately collected waste and placed in colored containers can be recycled. This, combined with a responsible attitude towards nature, guarantees us a clean environment and a better quality of life.

The children participating in the event were "Environmentalists in Action" and the message was "Think Green, Collect Separately".
