The drawings from the competition "Think green, collect separately" for the city of Plovdiv were exhibited at the City Art Gallery
More than 300 drawings by children from 20 Plovdiv schools
were arranged in the exhibition "Think Green, Collect Separately" at
the City Art Gallery in Plovdiv. They are part of the competition "Think
green, collect separately", which the Municipality of Plovdiv and the
companies for recovery of packaging waste "Bulecopack" and
"Ecopack" organized at the end of last year.
The exhibition was opened by Deputy Mayor Anesti Timchev
and 6-year-old Teodor from DG "Sun".
"We were extremely impressed by the ideas of the
students who participated in the competition, so we decided to arrange all the
drawings in the hall, which exhibits the works of some of the greatest artists
in Bulgaria and the world," said Timchev.
The competition, which was part of the European Waste Reduction Week initiative, aimed to promote adolescents' responsible attitudes towards nature conservation and promote green thinking.
Anyone
who wishes can see how children imagine the protection of nature and the planet
Earth through the separate collection of waste until February 1 at the City Art
Gallery in Plovdiv.
