"Plastic Race" in the Iskar region
In November 2024, Bulecopack and the Iskar
Regional Administration organized the "Plastic Race" initiative for
schools in the region. 8 schools participated in the campaign, which, for a
certain period of time, had to collect the largest possible amount of plastic
bottles and aluminum cans. The collected waste was weighed and transported by
Buleсopack for subsequent recycling, with a total amount of nearly 600 kg.
The participating schools received various sports equipment as a prize, and the
school that collected the largest amount of packaging waste per 1 student
studying at the school received an adjustable volleyball net.
