Celebrating April 22 – World Earth Day

Bulecopack celebrated with various activities the World Earth Day – April 22, supporting initiatives in a number of municipalities.

In Sofia Municipality – Iskar District, the organization took part in the cleaning of the yards of the schools in the area and provided the bags and gloves for the initiative.

In the municipality of Balchik, the holiday was celebrated with a campaign for separate collection of packaging waste for the residents of the town, as well as celebrations in which children from kindergartens showed objects and models of waste materials, as well as an interesting fashion show of clothes made from waste.

Bulecopack was also a partner of the Municipality of Plovdiv – West District in the "Children's Recycliad" campaign, which celebrated the holiday with various games and workshops for children with an eco focus. In addition to this initiative, the Organization, together with the Municipality of Plovdiv, held lessons in the Green Rooms built by the municipality.

Bulecopack also supported the educational campaign "Future in Green for Earth Day", which was held at "Angel Karaliychev" Secondary School, Sofia. Strazhitsa for students from 1st to 4th grade. During the initiative, the children's attention was focused on the topic of separate collection of packaging waste and its role in environmental protection.

We thank all municipalities for their joint work in organizing initiatives to engage the attention of children and adults to the problem of waste.

Together with the children from "Hristo Botev" Primary School in the village of Yankovo and "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Smyadovo marked April 22 with a campaign to plant flowers and trees in the yards of schools for children to take care of.
