Bulecopack supported environmental initiatives on the occasion of Children's Day in Sofia and Plovdiv

On the occasion of Children's Day - June 1, Bulecopack was part of two interesting events for children in the cities of Sofia and Plovdiv. In Sofia, the organization, together with colleagues from ECOPACK Bulgaria AD and Ecobulpack Bulgaria, was part of the first edition of the four-day children's festival Kids Expo Bulgaria, which was held in the area around the church-monument "St. Alexander Nevski" from May 29 to June 1. The event offered various interesting activities for children, and we organized a special workshop where each child was able to make various fun items from packaging, plastic and cardboard cups, boxes and caps. In addition to interesting inventions, the little visitors also left with more knowledge about why separate collection is important and how with small steps in our everyday lives we can contribute to environmental protection. In the city of Plovdiv, Children's Day turned into an inspiring experience, combining art, creativity, sports and love for nature. Bulecopack, the “Inbetween” Foundation and the Municipality of Plovdiv shared the holiday with young and old at the special event “June 1st on the River”, which was held on the Promenade along the Maritsa River next to the Water Palace. Amidst the greenery and tranquility of the riverbank, the participants participated in art workshops, where the children created, drew, and through art expressed their love for nature. There was also no shortage of environmental initiatives, such as planting flowers, in which the children participated and learned more about caring for nature. The culmination of the day was a cleaning campaign “Living Maritsa”, which showed the children and their parents how important it is to care for the environment not only through words, but also with real actions. Together we cleaned the riverbank and set an example of how we can make our city cleaner and more beautiful.
