Bulecopack took part in the event "Science night"

Together with our colleagues from Ecobulpack Bulgaria, we took part in the Science Night event, organized by Muzeiko Children's Science Center. The event was part of the project "Live in the circle! Solve the problem!", which aims to contribute to raising awareness and participation on resource management, waste recycling and the circular economy among schools and the population through the development and implementation of educational programmes and campaigns.

All attendees had the opportunity to find out what are the challenges to waste recovery in Bulgaria, what path the different materials go and to test their knowledge on the topic by properly separating the different materials and determining the fit and unfit for separate collection packaging.

We remind you that Bulecopack is partnering with Muzeiko, Ecobulpack Bulgaria and other partners in the project "Together with Muzeiko", which aims to raise awareness of how people's daily habits affect the environment. Part of the project is the interactive educational exhibition that demonstrates everyday household processes and their impact on nature with 4 active and fun modules that address key issues and challenge children and their families to engage with solutions. #TogetherActWithMuzeiko" includes interactive modules on a different topic: "Recycling Sorter", "Lighting", "Water at Home", "Where do toys go?". They "tell" why it's important to recycle, how to reduce the amount of water used at home, how to optimize lighting so that bulbs pollute less, and what happens to toys after we throw them away.

In addition to the educational exhibition, the project "Together Act with Muzeiko" also includes an online platform green.muzeiko.bg. There children and parents can get acquainted with the main topics of the exhibition.

Currently, the four modules can be viewed in Stara Zagora in the Kaufland hypermarkets on Tsarigradsko shose Str. 2 Stamo Pulev and ul. "Ivan Vazov" 2.
