June 5 - World Environment Day
This year, we celebrate June
5th – World Environment Day, under the motto “Beat Plastic Pollution”! Plastic
is everywhere – in rivers, in soil, in oceans, even in the food we eat. Every
year, humanity produces over 400 million tons of plastic, and over half of it
is never recycled. But there is something we can all do. It starts with one
simple habit: separate waste collection. Rinse the plastic packaging. Throw it
in the yellow container. Give it a second life by recycling. Separate! Recycle!
For yourself. For our children. For nature.
