Eco initiatives in October

The month of October was filled with various environmental events aimed at building and strengthening environmental thinking in children. Bulecopack organized and supported various campaigns in the municipalities of Plovdiv, Rodopi, Rakovski, Smyadovo, Kavarna, Provadia and the town of Kuklen. The main goal of the campaigns was to draw attention to pollution with packaging waste, to form a responsible attitude towards nature and the world around us and to build commitment among the population regarding its protection. The events involved students from the municipality of Rakovski, the municipality of Rodopi, the town of Kuklen and the town of Plovdiv.

In the municipalities of Rakovski, Rodopi and the town of Kuklen, eco-lessons, workshops and discussions were held, in which the students showed serious knowledge of separate waste collection and willingly participated in discussions on this topic, sharing their experience and contribution to reducing packaging waste. Some of the schools from the municipalities of Rodopi and Smyadovo embarked with enthusiasm and desire in campaigns for separate collection of packaging waste, as in Smyadovo they managed to collect an impressive 992 kg. of packaging waste for recycling, and in Rodopi they collected 160 kg. of plastic bottles. An information campaign was held among schools in the municipalities of Provadia and Kavarna, during which cardboard bins for separate collection and various educational and informational materials were distributed. Bulecopack expresses its gratitude to all municipalities that help promote the benefits of separate collection and try to make it a part of everyone's everyday life!
